Generation One

"I always wanted to be a farmer. There is a tradition of that in my family. "

Your family was always into the farming deal. They spent their days working hard and asked for their children to do the same. So when you turned 18, your parents surprised you with your own plot of land to continue on tradition. And having always been one to want to impress the folks. 1. Hello :) Been trying to post comments but doesn't seam to let me.

  2. Finally!!! think I figured it out,..

I am trying to do this challenge and have a question, I have gotten though the 1st generation and am working on 2nd, Can I move my heir out of family home and into it's own? and do I do this for each generation? 2nd generation says to get 50,000 and I am not sure how to KNOW she has earned that much if I have the monies from family,..

  3. Sorry for the delay.

That's actually an excellent idea to keep track of the money for each generation.

Moving to any lot you choose is perfectly o.k. for this challenge.

    (The Original Method)

Unfortunately EA didn't make a way for us to keep tally of each Sims money, so you would have to keep tally of what each generation makes on paper instead.

I think your way is better though!

    Hope that helps,

  4. Hey Beth (Beth Jalilie),

I just edited the challenge above to add in your idea about moving the heirs into their own lot. I thought it was a great idea and could make things easier for other simmers playing the challenge. If you have any other ideas about any of my challenges, please let me know.

    Thanks again.

  5. Ok,.. Family so far. Morgan married Jack Renteria, being a farmer, she worked only a part time job to help out with finances,.. Jack had the wish of being an astronaut so he became one, helping Morgan in the garden when he could. They had 2 children, Mary and John, They grew every plant the grocery store had,.. Morgan LTW was to have a perfect garden and this wish was granted.

  6. Morgan got her gardening skill to 10,.. Also Jack had the "loves the outdoor" trait

John has been moved into the town, He has a job at the bistro. No love life as of yet.

Mary got a job in town in business, met Rusty at work and they had gotten pregnant before the marriage so they hurried up and had a private one. Mom was not happy when she found out. She had hoped Mary would follow her ways but should have know better as Mary seems to be doing every thing different then Morgan.
Mary got a walker and playpen so she would be able to work from home while her kids taught themselves to talk and walk. Potty training was the pits!!!

  7. Rusty divorced Mary and she decided she wanted something better so she married her boss.
Now that Marcie and Jason are going to able to go to school Mary expects to move up the Corporate ladder.

  8. Sorry forgot to put that Rusty turned invisible in my game so I could not have Mary interact with him,.. so I had him interact with her and got him out,.. That is the reason for the divorce. but it made for a nice event for Mary to get her boss,.. ;) Steve is actually an elder and does not have much time left,.. Maybe if Rusty reappears they could get back together,.. lol
